Now there's something you don't see every day. Last year our local park was knit bombed with striped knitted tubes being placed around the trunks of a lot of the trees.
I find this yarn bombing fad wierd. But you can't knock them for making a business venture of it,
That is great.
Very interesting fad, never heard of it until now. I like that skull. ( :

Merry Christmas to you Rae.
What wonderful way to make the world a little warmer and softer!I have seen many a lamp post, tree trunk, even scaffoldings, wrapped that way, but never heard it called "knit bombing" around here. I came over here via Melbourne. I have friends who are from the Perth area and live in London. ;-)Happy New Year,Merisi

Too funny and love the knitwear everywhere:)
I am a knitter and crocheting and never like the yarn bombing stuff. It annoys me, I always think what a waste, the time, energy, money, and yarn could be used to make someone in need warmer. I know I'm in the minority, most people like it, think it's fun. The only ones I've seen that I gave a thumbs up to were scarves around statues with a note that said if you're cold take this scarf and keep warm...purposeful and artsy in my opinion.Sandy at Traveling SuitcaseI have a charity Blog, dedicated to help the homeless through knitting and crocheting if you're interested it's <a href="http://homelessbridge.blogspot.com/<Sandy at Bridge and Beyond</a>

Knit-bombing - what a great idea! The only problem is I can't knit - I wonder if cross-stitch bombing will ever take off.
