At Floreat Beach for the Winter Solstice

It's good to have the internet up again! And equally as good has been the winter weather over the last few days and none more so than on the Winter Solstice on Friday. Now for the joy of the hours of sunlight becoming increasingly longer.

  2. That is a lovely shot Rae. And would you two stop depressing me? 21C in mid winter and days now getting longer for you = getting shorter for us! Mind you, a little less light in the morning would be good as it's light at 3.45AM!

  4. Gorgeous! Longer days for you but sadly shorter days for us (and in Coventry...really shorter since the sun doesn't come out much lately here :)).

  7. Gee Rae. You really have done justice to the solstice and the setting sun. Beautiful capture of those lovely rays across those awesome waves.

  8. We just passed our summer solstice, and I dread the coming of the lengthening of the days.
