Even in Winter, Sometimes the Beach is Just the Place to Be

Mid morning and the sun was warming the beach and the surf was rolling in.

Despite the cold of the last few days, surfers were out on their boards and people were taking advantage of the wonderful morning weather to do a spot of fishing. Were the fish biting? Well I don't really know. But the day felt  magical and by the water at Trigg Beach was just a delightful place to be.

  2. Rae, another superb landscape from you. I have commented before on the height/width ratio you have been using and it is perfect for this image too. It's marvelous. A painting. Great textures in the foreground. A wonderful photographic story. When is the exhibition?

  4. It certainly is better than being at work Randy. Joe thanks for your comment. Much appreciated. I think that we Oz bloggers should plan an exhibition of works. Melbourne would be my choice for location!

  5. I have to agree with you Rae, the beaches in this weather and even when it's really wintery are fabulous. Love this shot, is it just near the Blue Hole at Trigg?
