Lunchtime

A wonderful lunchtime in the city park near the corner of William and Hay Streets, Perth. About forty five minutes later the sky had clouded over and it was raining again. It was not until downloading this photo that the large nest in the treetop was clear. I have no idea what bird would have such a large nest in this city location.

  3. Do you have squirrels such as we do that might have built that treetop nest?

  4. Hi Kate, no we don't have squirrels like you do and it's definitely not Joe's suggestion!

  6. Do you have ibis. Looks a bit like the ones in the Botanic Gardens here.

  8. Love this image Rae, the trees look amazing in their left over from autumn leaves, I'm surprised they have any leaves on them at all after the winds we've had, and I bet the nest has had a few 'nervous' moments haha! Wonder if it is an ibis nest, curious!
