Between Storms

While emergency crews have been out in force cleaning up debris from Sunday's storm and returning electricity services to 170,000 residences and business, diehard kite and board surfers were near Cottesloe Beach today taking advantage of the windy conditions before the next storm -  forecast for this evening - hits our shores.

This week we had intended to start pruning the vines down on the vineyard at Nannup. When I last heard the electricity was still out so we have our fingers crossed that tonight's storm won't be as severe as predicted.

Definitely a night to stay indoors and - just in case - have the torch within easy reach!

  1. Don't think para sailing is for me. Far too unpredictable. I hope tonight's forecast storm dissipates before hitting your shores.

  7. Nice shot, Rae. There's something attractive about the sea after a storm. Maybe it's just me.
