At the Lake's Edge

A new day has dawned and after the storm, the house it still intact. No electricity down on the vineyard, although Ken and our dog Elvis are managing okay with the wood fire and have light due to the loan of a generator. No one get advise us when power will be restored.

It's not a day that I want to go out in to take pics, so instead I have played with sepia tones on photos taken at the lake's edge in Hyde Park, Mt Lawley were I enjoy visiting and seeing the changing colours and decay of the fallen leaves.

  3. Much safer to stay indoors when power lines could be down. Or are all your lines underground, which is so much wiser and safer!

  4. Glad you are safe, thought of you and Grace when I saw the terrible damage in Perth. We also had horrendous weather over the weekend. Glad we didn't go to Yamba as it had 200mls of rain in 18hrs! Oh for some sunny calm weather like we had in May. Good luck with the pruning.
