Arcade View

Even from the very end of this arcade that runs between Hay and Murray Streets in Perth, the colours and contrast of the mural, brickwork and reflections were enough to get me interested and take a quick detour for a closer look. The mural is located next to the Town Hall.

Another new perspective to the city I had not previously noticed. It's amazing what I continue to discover  about where I live when there is a camera in my shoulder bag.

  3. This is a beautiful capture Rae ... It reminds me of the quote by Thoreau. " it's not what you look at that matters! It's what you see"

  5. I like the light and reflection in this one Rae. I agree with your comment about rediscovering your city through the lens of a camera. I have found perspectives on old places and some completely new spots in Melbourne I have never seen before. Thoroughly enjoyable.
