Tree Cosy

It's been a little chilly (well for Perth that is) as our autumn weather really starts to set in. So while visiting friends in South Fremantle I was fascinated to see the considerable effort that had gone into creating a decorated tree trunk cover made from carefully knitted and pieced together woollen squares. Hearts, flowers and figures to brighten up the day and the streetscape. Autumn street art that anyone could be proud off.

  2. I love these wherever I see them, but sadly, only in photographs thus far. My next sadness, is that I suspect them to have a limited life, once the sleet and soot of city living accumulates.
