From a Bygone Era

We hurried past this old truck on a farm in Ludlow on the way down to the vineyard at Nannup as there was work needing to be done on the farm. On the return journey however I could not resist stopping for a photo of this old truck lined up to the cattle loading ramp as it would have been in an era long gone.

  2. Looks pretty dry. With our current spate of metal thefts this old truck would not last long here.

  3. Love all that rust and weathered timber.

  4. It's like the proverbial 'deserted ship' Rae, like someone just opened the door, got out and walked away, about forty years ago! I'm glad you stopped to catch this shot.

  5. Such an earthy shot. Rust always makes me think of liquid metal. It just seems to drain into the earth.
