Morning Walk

Although the morning air was chilly, I enjoyed a delightful walk  through the woods near where I am staying in Maryland.

  5. Barbara, Amazing that you came all the way over to Perth from Maryland! I have family in Columbia and visit when I can. This photo was taken in the woods directly behind their house. A beautiful spot. Love it there too!!!

  8. Rae,
I am coming in February - to get married! :)

I should have asked you before I bought the tickets, but how is it that you go back and forth? When are the best times to travel?

My fiancé and I will be married (at Castlerock beach), but we will be bi-continental for awhile and I need to learn how to be smart with tickets and such.

  9. Barbara, Fantastic news. Congratulations! Apologies that it has taken so long to reply to your question. Re travel to the US, I have come over for work, family and just to see your beautiful country. Where I intent to travel to determines how I travel eg if going direct to the east coast then from Perth I may go with Emirates. Otherwise I travel to Sydney to the West Coast usually by Qantas or Virgin Australia. Then of course at other times have gone via New Zealand, so can also go Air New Zealand. Most of my travel to the US recently as been during your fall especially in late November coming ack to Oz in early December. I have booked several times through a group in Australia called Flight Centre, otherwise I have booked directly on the with an airline using frequent flyers (sounds like you will be building these up!)

  10. That should read "have booked directly...on the Internet" for some reason the Ipad stuck and could not correct several typos in the previous message. So to finish off: my best wishes to you and your partner for your forthcoming wedding and for a wonderful 2012. Best wishes, Rae.
