From the Garden

Each Saturday I get together with a group of four or five friends to draw, paint, sketch or whatever is taking our interest at the time. At the moment we are planning to make artwork from photos tranferred via photocopies onto boards. Then the creative fun begins! This project is still in the making, so I may post some photos of our progess a little later on.

Yesterday was a cloud filled day in Perth with the odd light shower of rain. While I was sitting drawing, this Bird of Paradise caught my eye. A welcomed contrast to the grey sky of the early days of Spring.
