Perth City Farm

Last Saturday I called into Perth City Farm in East Perth and found that much had changed during the past year. There is now a cafe and the delicious organic coffee is no doubt a bonus for nearby city workers. Much of the charm of Perth City Farm is that the community garden, chooks, plant nursery, rabbits and windmill abut an office block constructiuon site, the railway line and are a short walk from established office complexes. If you are looking for certified organic produce, Perth City Farm is well worth the journey.

  1. The produce looks great. I'll pop over... oh wait, it's 12000km away... perhaps ruining the green credentials of organic produce!

  2. A good healthy robust mix of organic veg - love the aubergines!

  3. Pierre, thx.
Craig, c'mon over. There 's lots to see and do here. Can't solve the carbon emissions though. Still, Perth is the most remote capital city in the world.
Dianne, I love the aubergines as well.

  4. Beautiful colours. Don't think I've seen that marble effect on eggplants like that before.
