Balladong/Noongar Artist Rod Collard from Western Australia's South West at the Kidogo Art Institute and Gallery  at Bathers Beach in Fremantle.

  3. I love how the current batch of indigenous artists have the ability to re-invent the ancient symbols into something vibrant and modern.

    THis is terrific work and to see the artist, I agree that it adds substance to his work.

  7. Thanks everyone for your comments. I am sure Rod will also enjoy reading them. He let me know that it took him about 65 hours to complete the artwork shown here and was very generous in sharing his time with me when I dropped into his studio. Rae

  8. We are lucky enough to have this beautiful piece hanging in our reception area at our Mandurah Office and it really is such a joy to walk past each day. It always receives praise from visitors to our office and has been a great talking piece. Wonderful work - Thank you Rod :)
