Approach to Mundi Mundi at Art Gallery of NSW

Just about every year, I make the journey to Sydney to see the Archibald Prize finalists and this year was no exception. As well as the Archbald, it was exciting to be at the Gallery for the opening of the John Kaldor Family Collection. Over the next few days, I'll be posting some photos of my time in Sydney and maybe even a snap shot or two from Melbourne. To start though, here is a night shot taken during the open weekend at the Gallery. In this shot, Shaun Gladwell's work is being projected onto the Art Gallery of NSW. What a sensational time it was to be there!

  2. Jim, I think this was part of the special contemporary art celebrations at AGNSW. It was very effective and the celebratory program excellent. We arrived at 10am and did not leave until the gallery closed at 9pm. A full on day!

  7. this is my favourite public building in Sydney, Rae. I get an immense rush of pleasure as I step from the sunken vestibule into that long low ground floor.
