Wesley Church William Street

The foundation stone of the Wesley Church on the corner of William and Hay Streets, Perth was laid in 1867. It was nearly three years later before the first congregation meet there on 10 April 1870. The exterior of the church underwent restoration in 1987 and stands proudly against the backdrop of the surrounding high rise office buildings.

  4. Jim, Joe, Dianne and Craig, thx for you comments. I happened to visit here when in town and as I like the challenge of night shots, decided to walk to the Hay Street Mall just to have a look around. Craig, I am not sure how new the lighting on the building is, but it certainly looked marvellous.
